Vienna, Va., Nov. 20, 2018 – Health2 Resources was named a 2018 MarCom Gold winner for a comprehensive communication campaign on behalf of its client, the Commission for Case Manager Certification. The communications firm, based in the Washington, DC area, was recognized for development and deployment of the marketing and promotion campaign to encourage qualified case managers to “Get Certified. Stay Certified. Develop Others.

The multi-year campaign is designed to actively engage interest in the oldest and largest credential for individual case managers, the Certified Case Manager® (CCM®), which validates training and readiness through a research-based, comprehensive exam. In the 12 months after rollout of the “Get Certified. Stay Certified. Develop Others.” campaign, website activity increased more than 38 percent over the previous year.

In addition to certification, the Commission provides education and professional development resources. In recent years, it has focused efforts on expanding the case manager workforce to meet growing demand.

Health2 Resources represents the Commission for strategic communications planning and execution. The “Get Certified. Stay Certified. Develop Others.” campaign was designed to clearly communicate the call for certification, ongoing professional development and investment in developing the next generation of board-certified case managers.

“It is an honor to represent an organization that’s devoted to promoting excellence in case management, first by validating knowledge and experience, and then by supporting lifelong learning and ethical practice,” said Katherine Capps, president of Health2 Resources. “As a firm specializing exclusively in the health care sector, we appreciate the connection between whole-person, coordinated care and better health. The Commission’s efforts to support the case managers who fulfill this role is critical in today’s complex health care landscape.”

The MarCom Awards recognize outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

“There is tremendous need for knowledgeable, highly-skilled case managers across the health care continuum,” said MaryBeth Kurland, CAE, the Commission’s CEO. “Certification is a career-boosting achievement, elevating individuals and empowering them to help develop others. Health2 Resources works closely with us to amplify our voice and communicate our efforts to prepare and sustain an ethics-driven workforce.”
